Television Series Pilot
Professional Magician Anthony Dorian
is interrupted by a mans
sudden
death in the middle of a live magic performance.
One woman in particular,
appears more distant than the other spectators, and Tony
invites her backstage to get away from the crowd of spectators, and to
try and learn more from her.
He learns the womans name is
Nora, and she was in his audience,
not to see his show, but to meet the now deceased man lying on the
floor in the banquet room
She is confused because only 3
weeks earlier her daughter was on an
airplane that supposedly disappeared,
and since that time she has received strange phone calls,
and visit's by strangers with guns,
asking her questions about her daughter Mary Rose.
Soon after someone with a gun
breaks into his dressing room
to confront Nora,
Tony can clearly see the woman is helpless and concerned for her
daughter's safety, and decides to help her find out what happened.
Tony then takes Nora to his friend Max Palmroys house
for a few days, where she will be safe.
With Max's connections,
and Tony's ability to draw accurate sketches of people by memory,
together they are able to figure out the dead man was actually
Lucian Baker,
Mary Roses boyfriend who was also supposedly on the
airplane that disappeared,
and whom
Nora never got to meet.
While investigating the
mystery of Mary Rose,
Tony follows the woman who claims the dead mans body.
He finds out the woman is Sally Baker, wife of Joseph Baker.

As Tony confronts Mrs. Baker,
he finds out that her husband does not confide in her,
and that their marriage is not solid,
and thus he is able to enlist her help infiltrating her husbands
estate to find out what happened to
young Mary Rose.
Not long afterward, Tony
discovers the truth,
Joseph Baker is involved in a scheme to
sell a dangerous weapon to a hostile government.
His Son Lucian was to deliver the weapon,
actually hid it instead, to prevent the sale.
Now everyone is after Mary
Rose because they think
she knows where this weapon is hidden.
Tony is able to finally locate Mary Rose,
she is being kept prisoner at the Baker Estate.
Tony is able to talk Mrs.
Baker into letting him perform at
an upcoming anniversary party at the Baker Estate.
Tony uses this opportunity to outwit the bad guys
(with magic of course)
and escape with Mary Rose disguised as his magic assistant.
As Tony and Mary Rose walk to
shore and jump into a waiting speedboat,
they are pursued by Bakers henchmen.
Luckily, Tonys Pilot is nearby in a Sea Plane,
he scoops up Tony and Mary Rose,
and Tony is able to finally reunite
Mother & Daughter.
