Anthony Blake is Rehearsing for
his next Magic show,
at the Pomona California Fairgrounds,
Bill receives Magic Instruction from Magic Coordinator Mr. Larry Anderson
when a man steps into the outdoor Arena to watch.
Afterward the man introduces himself to Tony
as Alby Allikolos.
He praises Tony’s magic tricks,
and also invites Tony to
his home for a celebration he is having later in the evening….
A Birthday Celebration Alby is having for his girlfriend Sussana.
Tony Graciously thanks The stranger, and has no real intention of
going to the party….until a short time later
As Tony is leaving the fairgrounds,
he witnesses two men getting
physical with Alby
near the Horse stables.
Tony is able to rescue Alby from the two men and after learning more
about Alby’s recent troubles,
he decides to attend the Party,
where he has been Persuaded by Alby to Perform.
It is while Tony is performing for the guest’s
that Alby is Seen by others,
at a distance,
shoot a man in an altercation at the Party.
After-word he is seen running thru the bushes.
As everyone comes to check out what happened,
Alby is still hiding in the bushes.
When Tony asks him what happened,
Alby convinces Tony that he did not shoot the man,
and that he had passed out and had just awaken in the bushes.
Tony decides to investigate and uncovers a complex plan involving
Horseracing.
While Alby is in Jail awaiting his fate,
Tony figures out a plan to draw out the conspirators…..and discovers
the actual killer wore a mask that makes him look like Alby,
and then ran into the bushes.
He also finds out Alby’s girlfriend Sussana,
and the Head of the Equestrian Security were also involved.
Alby is finally cleared of all charges.
